This tournament was held at the Tiger Muay Thai training facility. Every "Full Moon" the camp promotes an amateur night of "smoker fights". These fight cards combine Boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA fights. July 19th 2008 BBQ Beatdown fights featured a 4 man under 85 kilo MMA tournament./nFighters wore shin pads and 8oz "shooto style" gloves. No knees to the head when the opponent is standing or on the ground. Knees are permitted only to the body from the standing position. No upkicks, or down kicks from both combatants when a fighter is on his back. And no leg submissions. This tournament featured 2 rounds of 3 minute duration./nThe first round featured Mike Hutchison from Canada vs. fellow Canadian Jason Saggo. The other bracket featured Andreas Hesselback of Sweden vs. an American KOTC PPV veteran./nFighters in this Video/nAndreas Hesselback (Black Koral shorts) is a Lordz of Pain Singapore advanced under 79 Kilo Gold Medalist. He is a Battle in Bali veteran, and has an amateur MMA record of 1-1-1. He is currently 2-1 competing as a pro./nHis opponent is from the USA (Black Sprawl shorts) and has a 3-0 amateur record. Fighting as a pro he is 2-1 with his only loss coming on a PPV broadcasted KOTC event.
